Collective Unconscious (Creative Convergence)

Collective Unconscious, part of Forgn Studio's Creative Convergence series, is a free, immersive collaborative installation exploring perception, technology, and the boundary between the digital and physical world, presented by Forgn Studio at the Arts and Culture Lab. The exhibition features work by artists Giorgio Villani, Kieran Skelly, Wade Drake, Carlos Castaneira, and David Mendoza. The exhibition opens Friday, July 24, 2026 with an opening night reception from 7–10 PM, and remains on view Saturday and Sunday, July 25–26, from 7–10 PM each evening. It closes Monday, July 27 with a special program: doors at 6:30 PM, followed by a talk from Dr. Dale Walker on Plato's Allegory of the Cave, a Q&A, and a facilitated group discussion, wrapping at 9 PM. All programming is free and open to the public, all ages welcome, with RSVP available via Luma. The exhibition is located at Arts and Culture Lab, 5301 Polk St, Unit 18A, Houston, TX 77023, and is funded in part by the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance.
